Information about the position

TGW delivers high-tech automation solutions for intralogistics. As a Team Leader, you will be part of the launch of TGW's latest project in Sweden: ICA's new fully automated cold storage facility in Hacksta, Västerås, which is set to go live in February 2026. The warehouse covers approximately 23,000 square meters and includes a 30-meter high automated pallet warehouse with a dynamic shuttle system, fully automated packing stations, and energy-efficient conveyor belts for pallets, cartons, and packages – all adapted for temperatures down to -25°C.

The position is a direct recruitment, meaning that the recruitment process is conducted via Professionals Nord and you will be employed directly by TGW. All questions regarding the position can be directed to [email protected].

Job responsibilities

In the role of Team Leader, you will among other things:

  • Lead and coach the resident engineering team on-site
  • Ensure that automation operates with high efficiency
  • Perform reporting, monitor performance, and participate in customer meetings
  • Conduct process audits and follow up on improvement actions
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance of automated equipment
  • Handle escalations according to TGW's procedures
  • Be a people-minded leader with strong communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Understand how workflows in production operate and be able to estimate time requirements for various tasks

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a technical education (mandatory)
  • Has experience in operational engineering work in a similar environment
  • Has experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
  • Has all-round technical experience (automation, production, etc.)
  • Has knowledge of Siemens S7, Profibus, CAN bus, Profinet, and ASI Bus
  • Has a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems
  • Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English
  • Is flexible with shift work: Monday–Friday 06:00–22:00, as well as one day on the weekend (Saturday 06:00–14:00 or Sunday 14:00–22:00)

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in intralogistics or automated warehouse solutions
  • Experience working in complex automation or control systems
  • Previous experience in coaching and training technicians
